It’s goid to read the Moyes wants to bring some craft into the mid park as it was ridiculous how much we missed Lanzini yesterday. We feed the ball to him so often that it was almost amusing to see the players receive the ball and look for him yesterday. They then had to clip the ball into the channel.

I’ve not been a fan of Antonio since he decided to Slav where he would and wouldn’t play. Is the strength of feeling towards him by a few on here caused by this, recent performances or something else ?

Did Moyes play that team to demonstrate the glaring need for investment in all that team's departments?
Or did he perhaps do it to really rub it in?
Or did he really believe it was his best team on the day?
Whatever the answer to those questions, without Lanzini, at this stage of development, the club is relegated and has no place in the Premier League.

Zabaletta offered a lot going forward but was hopelessly out paced when exposed in defence.... Arthur, again, great going forward, awful and plain fucking lazy in defence
Ayew is too much aligned. he won the ball back in midfield on a number of occasions though ran up a few blind alleys and should never have taken the pen... but who should?
Have slated Arnie 6 weeks ago he is comfortably our most impressive player and puts in shift...
Antonio offers very little currently, he has lost his mojo and needs some confidence
it was a bad day at the office... we have 4 games in quick succession starting with an away win at Bournemouth

Where are all the idiots that came on here after Tuesday that thought throwing a quarter final was the right thing to do. I’m still more angry about that than yesterday. These people just like our manager have absolutely no ambition to ever achieve anything. Just happy to plod along in mediocraty. This manager really is not for me, I’d rather someone who tries and fails than someone who doesn’t try at all. A two legged tie against Chelsea for a place in a cup final was there for the taking and that dickhead moyes throws the game, utter twat.

If you watch the game again and the goals they scored, the two that hit the post and the other where he curls it just over the bar from close range they all come from where Arthur or Zabaleta don't pick up their man after an attack breaks down.

Adrian was our best bet to score that pen. Zabaleta at £100k a week is a very expensive tribute act to a former right back while I can only blame Moyes for playing that fraud ayew again. Arnie was our only player today - should have played 10 behind sakho or Hernandez. Antonio obviously not match fit. Reid and ogbonna has a throwback day today to past non glories. Obiang just can’t pass a football.
